                   AN ORDINANCE CLOSING AND ABANDONING HURRICANE
                   CREEK ROAD, A 70-FOOT-WIDE RIGHT-OF-WAY LOCATED
                   SOUTHWEST FROM EAST BRAINERD ROAD, NORTHWEST OF
                   MORRIS HILL ROAD, MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
                   HEREIN.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby 
closed
         and abandoned Hurricane Creek Road, a 70-foot-wide right-of-way 

         located southwest from East Brainerd Road, northwest of Morris
         Hill Road, more particularly described herein, and as shown on
         plat attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference:
                A 70-foot-wide right-of-way located southwest from
                East Brainerd Road, northwest of Morris Hill Road. 
                Tax Map No. 171C-C-14 and 15; 171C-E-1 and 2; and
                171F-A-1.
               
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage as 
provided
         by law.
